I was introduced to the MRSA Action UK Charity through my Partner Carl Millington, who is also a member and lost his Uncle Colin through MRSA.
I was unaware of how serious the MRSA bug was until I met Carl and his Family, Mavis and Dale Law.
It saddens me to see how many people have suffered through the uncleanness of Hospitals and was honoured when I was asked to become a Trustee of the MRSA Action UK.
Although I have not lost a family member through MRSA, I want to be a part and give all my support to MRSA Action UK.
I am a Financial Adviser currently specialising in Mortgages & all Protection needs based in Preston, Lancashire. I have been in the industry for 6 years and hope that my expertise and various contacts, such as accountants and solicitors will be able to assist the Charity.
I have lost close family members, one of them being my Father when I was just aged 17, who tragically died in a road accident and understand the pain of what people go through when losing a loved one and having to cope and rehabilitating yourself to get you through the bad days. I would like to take this opportunity in becoming a Trustee to offer my support to others and the things I have learnt through my own life experiences.
